Foreign IP Address – PSAT (Educate)

QuestionWhy does the map show that I have clicks in another country?

AnswerWe provide a map that shows the approximate Geo-Location of users who have failed a simulated phish. We use Geo-IP data to determine this location. If you are seeing IPs from foreign countries in which your company is not based, it usually means that the user was using a cell phone when they click the link. Cell phone IPs are constantly changing and cell phone carriers often own a range of IPs from other countries.  You user could also be using a VPN that makes them appear as if they are in another country as well.
