What is graymail and how is it different from spam?

Graymail is an email you have solicited to receive (either knowingly or by accident). It is technically legitimate, even though you may no longer want to read it. Think of the newsletter you signed up for last year. On the other hand, spam is unsolicited, deceptive, and sent from unknown sources.
